What's Drop In/Short Term Child Care
Did you know that drop-in/short-term child care programs are required by North Carolina child care law (G.S. 110-86(2)(d)(d1) to register and post a notice stating that the program is not regulated by the State?
Drop-in/short-term childcare is defined by law as a child care arrangement where care is provided while parents participate in activities that are not employment related.
Drop-in/short-term childcare would be used by parents who need care while they occasionally run errands or participate in leisure activities. We must be able to reach the parent by a phone call immediately and the parent must be able to get back to our facility within 15 minutes.

Childcare Registration
Each parent is required to register each child before services. Which takes less than 5 minutes to fill out online. You may also come in to register.

Certified Childcare Providers
We are always looking to hire flexible certified childcare providers, we always strive to have each worker certified through the state by getting a Childcare Background Check, (CBC), First Aid & CPR certification, completed SIDs training, as well as BSAC trainings in order to work with older children, Each prospective employees will be prepared to work with your children to make sure that their needs are met while you are away. So as a team we strive to provide the best care possible. We’re always looking for amazing professionals to join our ranks. Kirklin's Playtime LLC. Discipline & Behavior Management Policy
We here at Kirklin's Playtime believe that praising and positive reinforcement is an effective method of the behavioral management of children. When children receive positive, non-violent, and understanding interactions from adults and others, they develop good self-concepts, problem solving abilities, and self discipline. Based on this belief of how children learn and develop values, this facility will practice the following discipline and behavior management policy. Please be sure to fill out a copy of our discipline and behavior management policy to send home!

School-Age Services and Virtual Remote Learning Camp

Each provider from Kirklin's Playtime LLC. has you covered. All candidates go through a vetting procedure, and all written references are verified. We guarantee your child will receive the best possible care. All caregivers are BSAC certified. We're also offering special activities to all school-age children ages 5-12 years old during this time and this summer, but spaces may be limited. Check out our "Upcoming Events", register online and email us to reserve a spot.
